Rincon, Puerto Rico

Rincon is on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico. Rincon is not your normal congested high-rise sort of beach town, but rather you’ll find peaceful beaches, less tourists flocking to find the swanky night clubs and instead you’ll end up right in the middle of a friendly, low-key sort of town. You’ll also need to get over yourself if you have a high and mighty air because this place does not. Read more »

Devonshire Beach, Alberta

Lets face it, when trying to go on holidays with family this year, a lot of people will forego the expensive trips to Disney World and DL, the all-inclusive resorts, and focus on cheaper versions that are just as much fun but with a natural focus and slower pace. Jekyll Island, Georgia

I had spent a lot of time at St. Petes Beach, FL during Easter break, so Jekyll Island was a change, i.e. no pristine white bleached beaches, but somewhat darker sand with lots of dunes. It was also not hot there compared to Florida during the same period. This is one place to plan for summer holidays, or at least closer to the summer such as May for turtle watching, or June.
