Sani Beach Club in Picturesque Greece

If you’ve been curious about traveling to Greece for your next family vacation, the Sani Beach Club caters to families by beautiful azure waters and at a low rise luxury hotel. The Aegean Sea, warm weather, child care for all ages, and a wide variety of activity choices may entice you to drop plans for Disney and heading to a unique setting.

The Sani Beach Club is part of the Sani Resort Hotels but I chose this one because the child care is at the club, not down the street from the club.

Activities: wake boarding, scuba diving, archery with experts there to help you sharpen your skills, football (actually called soccer in North America), water sports such as banana boats, pedalos, and ringos, classes if you need them for wind surfing, parasailing and water skiing, paint ball games, tennis, fitness centre, pools, and night life.

Child Care: For ages 4 months to 4 years old, you have the option of reserving UK child care specialists to look after your child in the Melissa Creche facility. You will pay extra each day for child care, and need to book it ahead, but the facilities are top notch in Greece. The hotel and child care facilities include a vast range of infant and child equipment that help eliminate the need to haul a lot of your own from home. For ages 4 years to 12 years, the Melissa Mini Club provides UK child care, with morning and afternoon activities.

The Teen Club includes teens from ages 13 to 16 years old.

Rooms: these rooms are to die for. They’ve incorporated calm white interiors to contrast with the colorful blue sea. The Deluxe Family Room can sleep six people, and starts at 251 Euros per night. A floor plan on the site shows the incredible space with two adjoining rooms. You won’t get the private terrace or garden like some of the other rooms offer, but you will have a balcony.

The Junior Suite offers its own private pool and accommodation for up to four people. It starts at 214 Euros, includes a private garden, terrace, Jacuzzi, and a tropical shower cabin. This is probably the sweetest deal if you have two children and two parents in the family party, or three adults and one child.

Reviews: overall great reviews. If you don’t sign up your child for the child care, don’t expect to use the facilities in the Melissa child care centers. The staff are consistently great, polite and attentive. There is a dress code for restaurants. Keep in mind that people with money tend to vacation here, and if you are Russian, you’ll have a lot of other Russians to converse with. Ask about the mosquito season, as they can be a bother depending on the time of year.
