Malibu Lagoon Beach Sea Creatures
There is nothing quite like having a bucket, a net, and a shovel of enthusiasm for occupying children in tidal pools along the coast. This beach called Malibu Lagoon offers as many small sea creatures as a sun-filled day could offer at the beach, such as starfish, anemones, crabs and more. If you keep tabs on the tide tables, you’ll be able to spend your time during low tide in order to make the most of your excursions.
The Malibu Pier, which is south a half mile away, has a trailer loaded with kayaks for rent on most days. There is a Malibu Country Mart across the street from Malibu Lagoon, where you can stock up on food and snacks for the day.
