Location: This 160 acre estate is on the island of Tenerife, which is the largest island of the Canary Islands, 1300 km from Spain’s mainland. It is 300 km from the coast of Africa, and just north of the Tropic of Cancer. It is tranquil, breathtaking, and it has the record of providing more sunshine filled days per year than the remainder of Spain.

Babysitting:

Two hours minimum is 25 euros per hour for a maximum of 3 children. A cancellation policy is in effect. This rate is for older children.

Babysitting for infants age 6 to 36 months starts at 18 euros per hour, 50 euros for a half day, and 80 euros for the entire day.

There is a children’s club from 10 am until midnight each day, for children age 3 to 12 years old. There is a wide range of activities organized for them including crafts, cooking, pirate treasure hunts, movies, outdoor activities – just ask for specifics.  When you think about the length of time your children can be occupied, you may just weep. It allows you a great deal of free time to relax if you crave that.

The rooms are a two minute buggy ride from the beach and golf course if you’ve had enough walking for the day. The lakes, swimming pools, restaurants, library, screening room and accommodations are within the Citadel. If you wish, you can stay at the Villas, which have a pool, the ocean views, transportation, and seclusion.

Rates: You will be looking at several hundred euros to start with during any season. There are some fantastic family holiday packages to consider, a golf and spa summer package, and honeymoon, wellness and culinary packages. The family package was extremely impressive when trying considering a family resort.

You will be amazed at the list which I have never observed the likes of for ensuring your infant has all the equipment and products at your disposal. Since their line of products they offer are so extensive, I’ve listed them while condensing their list by omitting sizes of diapers and a few other things. You could jump in a plane and fly out with just a diaper bag for your flight and know that your baby would be well cared for if you lost all your luggage en route.

Getting there: Tenerife Airport is the most logical airport to fly into. (TFS)

Teide National Park is 22 kilometres from the airport, as is the third highest volcano in the world. Playa de San Juan is the closest town to the resort and cheap to get to by taxi. The airport TFS is approximately 15 miles from the resort, or about 26 kilometres.
