Car Rental Site I Love

I’ve used carrentals.com  site at the bottom of this post, for several trips now, including Boston, Vancouver BC, Toronto and most recently Tampa. I’m thrilled that I found it and will always use it for my rentals because I get to compare prices with the various car rental companies all in one easy page. It will bring up the codes for the airports or if you want to rent somewhere else in the city it will bring up the available locations. I have saved a lot and I cannot emphasize enough  the incredible prices I’ve found.

A lot of the companies will not require you to enter your credit card information, allowing you to just book your car and pay when you arrive. I love that, because I won’t have to worry about being billed for something I didn’t use. When you go into the “book now” page, you can scroll down and see if they require a credit card number now or later.

The company will send you a confirmation of your booking, and to maintain a good reputation I would suggest you follow their cancellation policy by simply cancelling if you cannot make it, thus freeing up the car for someone else.

Tip: if you want to rent right at the airport, and not down some street that you’ll have to find again, then check the location of the actual car rental company. Although you may be getting a shuttle to it, you’ll have to find your way back to it later. I found out the hard way with one car rental company in Toronto that was not right in the airport and very difficult to take the right turn in getting back to it.
